Located in Pukekawa just 40 minutes south of central Auckland, and only 8 minutes from SH1 at Mercer. The par 72 course is 5488 metres long and makes superb use of the surrounding woodlands and land on which is was built. Strategically placed water hazards and bunkers makes accuracy a premium and the course rewarding for all standards of play.
With a convenient location just minutes off State Highway 1, Onewhero is the perfect choice for all golfers from Central Auckland and the South Auckland areas. Over 400 members enjoy regular golfing and social events as well as a number of regular visitors.
The mature 18 hole course is set in the fertile Franklin area, with volcanic free draining soil, that means the course is rarely closed. Areas of native bush on the course attract native pigeons, which are regularly seen on the course.
Whether as a casual visitor, corporate event, society day with friends or to attend a function, at Onewhero Golf Club our mission is to provide enjoyable days for all who visit.
The club has a two storey clubhouse, with good standard mens and womens facilities.
