The Port Waikato Residents and ratepayers Association are hosting the event where James Barnes who runs Takiora-Aoteroa will cover all aspects of the treaty its history and its relevance today.
James Barnes is an experienced facilitator with a Masters degree in indigenous knowledge and a special interest in colonial history and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The workshop is open to all Port and nearby residents
Venue – Community Hub Sunset Beach
Cost – Free just bring a lunch (beverages provided)
