ADULT ART CLASSES FOR MIXED ABILITY.

In this introductory 6 week course, artists will discover and develop their practical understanding of the Formal Elements of Art. These formal elements will take you on a practical and conceptual journey, focusing on Line (Wk1), Form(Wk2), Colour (Wk3) Light (Wk4) Pattern/Texture (Wk5) Mixed Media (Wk6). Through the analysis and focus on a huge variety of established artistic practice, students will learn new ways of creative thinking and practical expression focusing on the use of varied wet and dry media, formal drawing skills and experimental mark making.
The 6 x two hour (evening sessions) or the more detailed 6 x four hour (day sessions) will be structured to provide a great foundation for those looking to develop their creative skills. The 6 weeks will conclude with an online digital exhibition of the work produced during the course. Appropriate for ALL levels of skill, from beginner to advanced.
Evening class starts Tues 18th from 6.30 to 8.30 and Day sessions start of Thursday 20th July from 10.30 to 2.30pm.
